Colombia Pacifico Ltda., was founded in 1976 by Chinese and Colombian entrepreneurs, who produce, sell and import the finest Rattan furniture under the original “Tsai™ ” brand. Thanks to oriental artisans who still use their original “made-by-hand” techniques, we combine styles and materials for a truly inviting and natural living environment.

Until recently, the majority of our production was intended for our national market. However, due to our long-standing desire to widen the scope of our marketing efforts our exclusive contracts with outstanding artisans and our ability to produce furniture that is considered a work of art, we are now marketing to other regions. In addition, we have expanded our line to include customized synthetic resin, wood, aluminum furniture and other articles according to your needs all built to the highest standards of quality.

What is Rattan

Rattan is a species of palm that grows abundantly in the depths of the tropical rainforests of South East Asia. Today like hundreds of years ago, the Rattan is extracted from these forests by elephants and oxen and then is treated using, time-honored methods that guarantee its renowned durability.

For its firmness, malleability and exotic beauty Rattan is a unique and precious species. More than 25 years are required for a Rattan vine to reach the necessary width to manufacture a piece of furniture.
